REWIND: A 1990s-Themed Restaurant Worth the Drive

2026-09-08 Carey Ann George

Nostalgic decor, small plates, flatbreads and a wine list parents will love — why REWIND in Broadview Heights earned a 5-star spot on my list.

Every so often a restaurant does something genuinely fun, and REWIND in Broadview Heights is exactly that. It's built around a 1990s video-store theme — the kind of detail that makes you smile the moment you walk in.

The menu goes well beyond a gimmick, though. The small plates and flatbreads are thoughtful and well-executed, the organic chicken tenders are a hit with kids, and there's a real wine list for the adults. It works just as well for a date night as a family dinner.

REWIND is one of the spots I've given a 5-star rating on my Google profile, and it's featured as this week's restaurant pick. If you haven't been, it's worth the drive from anywhere in the southern suburbs.

Supporting locally-owned restaurants like this is what Moms of Northeast Ohio is all about — real places, run by real local families, that make our community better.
